Trainee Accountant

Introduction

Well established accounting firm located in Umhlanga, Durban requires recently qualified B.Com or B.Compt graduates (with Accounts 3 and Tax) to join their dynamic team.

Over 70% in maths and accounting for matric and good tertiary academic record required.

Candidate must commit to a 3 year training contract and will qualify as a Professional Accountant.

No previous experience necessary, you will receive excellent training.

Preferable to reside close to Umhlanga so travelling costs are minimized.

Duties & Responsibilities

• We require a responsible and hard working Trainee Accountant to join our team.
• Must be a team player with a "can do" attitude who can multitask and meet deadlines

Desired Experience & Qualification

• High marks in maths and accounting in matric
• Completed a B.Com or B.Compt degree at a recognised University
• Good academic record
• Must have completed Accounts 3 and Tax
• Confident with strong interpersonal skills
• Well-spoken and well presented
• Professional attitude
• Diligent, responsible and hard working
• Team Player
• No previous work experience is required
