Trainee: Junior Product Specialist / Product Manager / Sales Manager (inkl. OP Support)

About Us

We are a young, growing medical technology group based in Oberkirch/Sursee (LU). Our focus is on minimally invasive treatment methods in spinal surgery and the application of innovative technologies. Our national customers include hospitals, which we supply with instruments, implants, and sophisticated surgical equipment (endoscopy, robotics, navigation, etc.). They can rely on individual advice, professional surgical support, and a comprehensive product portfolio. Internationally, we work with distributors.

Trainee Program

We offer the opportunity to complete a trainee program (9 months) at Nexon Medical AG and Stöckli Medical to develop into a Junior Product Specialist, Product Manager (national or international), or Sales Specialist, and to further develop within the company after the trainee period. During this time, you will gain valuable insights into the multifaceted activities of our medical technology companies and will participate in numerous surgeries in hospitals. If desired and suitable, participation in international projects is also possible.

Your Role

Product Specialist / Sales Specialist including Surgical Support (OP Support):

• Acquire clinical competence to advise and support medical and nursing staff in the application of our products in the operating room.
• Coordinate and prepare surgical support assignments (cross-departmental).
• Develop and conduct training initiatives in the hospital or in our Innovation LAB.
• Assist with sales activities such as product presentations to physicians and participate in trade fairs and congresses.
• Opportunity for development as a Product Specialist and/or Sales Specialist.

Product Management (PM):

• Assist in Product Management (market research, conceptualization & realization of market launches, etc.).
• Assist with and implement marketing activities (website, mailing initiatives, organization of trade fairs/congresses, education events or webinars, etc.).
• Opportunity to take on PM tasks and/or develop into an international PM.

Further:

• Continuous development both on a product technology level and in the area of Sales Excellence.
• Active collaboration and exchange within the team as well as across departments and companies (Nexon Medical, Stöckli Medical, 7s Medical; Sales Administration, Logistics, Education, International, etc.).
• If desired and suitable, participate in international projects.

What We're Looking For

• Studies in Life Science & Technology, Human Medicine, Natural Sciences, or Business Administration.
• Identification with the hospital environment, including willingness for surgical support, combined with a pleasant and open demeanor to connect with people at various hierarchical levels and win them over.
• Enjoyment of professional exchange with physicians & hospital staff, as well as interest in medical technology products and human anatomy & spinal surgery (prior knowledge is an advantage).
• High personal commitment with service orientation and team spirit.
• Independent, reliable, and goal-oriented way of working with a good portion of initiative.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% (within Switzerland); potentially international travel (5-30%) if desired.
• Languages: German, English, French are an advantage.
