Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

This role supports a high-volume IR department performing neuro/stroke interventions and complex body procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This assignment is ideal for IR Techs with strong neuro and stroke experience who are confident scrubbing and assisting across a wide range of high-acuity interventional procedures.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS

• 13-week contract
• Day shift 4x10s (07:00–17:30, staggered start)
• Daily caseload: 13–17 procedures
• On-call required (weekday + weekend rotation)
• No float required
• 1 position available

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scrub and assist in neuro/stroke IR procedures including thrombectomy and embolization
• Support vascular and body IR procedures including angioplasty, stenting, biopsies, and drain placements
• Maintain sterile field and assist procedural workflow
• Assist with contrast administration and patient monitoring
• Operate Siemens and Phillips imaging systems
• Perform venous access and assist with central line procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Document procedures in PACS and Epic systems

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year IR Tech experience REQUIRED
• Neuro and stroke IR experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
• Minimum 1 year scrub experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
• Travel experience REQUIRED (no first-time travelers)
• ARRT(R) and BLS REQUIRED
• Experience with Siemens and Phillips equipment REQUIRED
• Strong experience across neuro, vascular, and body IR procedures
