Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Augusta, Georgia. This role supports a Neuro/Stroke Progressive Care Unit caring for cardiac, respiratory, and mixed medical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and titration of cardiac drips.

Position Overview

This opportunity is ideal for nurses with strong stepdown or PCU experience who are comfortable managing telemetry patients, titrating drips, and working in a high-acuity environment with consistent patient flow.

Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Shift: Mid shift, 3x12 (1300-0100)
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Unit Size: 36-bed PCU | Avg census: 30
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Call: No call
• Floating: Floating within facility/scope as needed

Compensation

Requirements

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact license REQUIRED at submission
• Minimum 1 year recent PCU or Stepdown experience REQUIRED
• ACLS REQUIRED
• BLS REQUIRED
• NIHSS REQUIRED
• Must be comfortable titrating cardiac drips REQUIRED
• Telemetry experience REQUIRED
• Ability to float within facility REQUIRED
• RTO (Max 7 days) must be disclosed at submission
