Your Role
As a key member of our Aptitude team, the Traveling Low Voltage Project Manager will play an essential role in overseeing constructability reviews, providing technical expertise, and coordinating project teams. You will be the go-to subject matter expert who integrates technology into our projects seamlessly.
- Safety First: Promote a safety culture and commitment to an injury-free environment.
- Project Coordination: Manage design and construction efforts to meet standards and objectives.
- Budget Management: Oversee budgets, costs, and projections for successful project completion.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate team members while aligning with our strategic objectives.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to address issues promptly.
- Documentation: Ensure all project documents are properly managed and archived.
Additional Responsibilities
- Drive business development and identify new technologies that enhance our Smart Building offerings.
- Engage with local organizations to promote our technology solutions.
- Support internal training initiatives to increase awareness of our services.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of new team members.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years in Information Technology/Security/Life Safety Systems.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, IT, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
Working Environment
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying conditions.
