TS/SCI Junior Full Stack Developer

Insight Global is seeking a qualified Junior Full Stack Developer in support of one of our federal clients in Hampton, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support applications (including enterprise systems), contributing across the full stack and preparing solutions for deployment.
• Work with containerized environments, primarily using Docker, and assist with efforts to move toward Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes to improve application stability and enhance workflows that directly support airmen.
• Collaborate within an agile scrum team, following sprint schedules, and participating in ceremonies.
• Learn and grow through mentorship and cross‑engineering collaboration, working alongside civilian and military developers while embedded in a government team.

Compensation

Compensation: $55/hr. to $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience with working in full stack development, including front-end, back-end, DevOps, web or mobile app.
• 2+ years of professional experience with programming languages or frameworks, including HTML, CSS, Python and JavaScript libraries (React, NodeJS, Angular).
• Knowledge of server-side development using SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team Agile environment.
• Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Top Secret required SCI Eligibility

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience with performing design and code reviews.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
• Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
