tvOS Developer (Apple TV/OTT)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced tvOS Developer to design and develop high-quality OTT applications for Apple TV platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in iOS ecosystem development and building scalable, performance-driven streaming applications for tvOS devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications for Apple TV (tvOS platform)
• Build and optimize OTT/video streaming applications for performance and scalability
• Work with Swift and SwiftUI/UIKit to develop native tvOS applications
• Implement video playback features including adaptive streaming, DRM, buffering optimization, and resolution switching
• Integrate RESTful APIs for content delivery and backend services
• Work on media frameworks such as AVFoundation for video playback
• Ensure smooth UI/UX experience for TV navigation (remote-based interaction)
• Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams for feature delivery
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and playback issues
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for Apple development guidelines
• Optimize applications for different Apple TV devices and tvOS versions

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in iOS development with focus on tvOS
• Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C
• Hands-on experience with AVFoundation and media playback frameworks
• Experience in OTT / streaming applications (VOD, Live streaming)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and JSON integration
• Experience in UI development for Apple TV (focus on remote-based navigation)
• Familiarity with Apple development tools (Xcode, Instruments)
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills
