Key Responsibilities

Procurement and Sourcing

  • Lead sourcing activities for engineering/EPC and infrastructure materials such as transformers, pumps, valves, switchgears, and pipelines.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and tender packages.
  • Conduct detailed technical and commercial bid evaluations with engineering and user departments.
  • Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency and high reliability.

Supplier Management

  • Lead supplier qualification, performance assessment, and selection processes.
  • Coordinate contract drafting and administration with legal and finance teams.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with contractual terms, technical specifications, safety standards, and delivery commitments.

Governance and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to suppliers, materials, and delivery timelines.
  • Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement in sourcing practices.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) or Supply Chain Management.
  • Master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree: 4 to 8 years of procurement or contract management experience, preferably in EPC or infrastructure environments.
  • Master’s degree: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and commercial evaluation skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced, project‑driven environments.

Knowledge

  • Experience using SAP MM, Ariba, or similar procurement systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical materials and engineering specifications in infrastructure systems.

Languages

  • English: Required
  • Arabic: Advantage
