UI / UX Designer - Digital Health Applications

About the Role

As a UI/UX Designer at Cancard Inc, you will play a crucial role in developing and commercializing innovative IOT/AI based digital healthcare products for global markets. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

• Conducting user research by interviewing patients, clinicians, and administrators to understand their needs and pain points. Analyzing research findings to create personas, journey maps, and empathy maps.
• Translating business requirements and user insights into user flows, wireframes, and interaction models to design intuitive workflows for healthcare tasks.
• Creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Developing consistent UI components that align with branding and usability standards.
• Designing with accessibility in mind and ensuring compliance with guidelines like WCAG 2.1 and healthcare industry regulations like HIPAA.
• Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, participating in agile ceremonies, and conducting usability testing sessions to validate design assumptions.
• Delivering annotated design specifications, collaborating with developers during implementation, and monitoring user engagement for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UI/UX designer in the digital health industry.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Knowledge of front‑end development principles, responsive design, and experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience with design systems, and conducting usability studies.
• Passion for improving healthcare delivery through technology and design.
