About the role
Role Purpose / Summary
The UiPath Solution Architect acts as the trusted advisor and technical authority for designing, validating, and articulating multi-technology solutions that meet customer needs and partner strategy while safeguarding commercial and technical integrity. This role combines deep technical expertise with pre-sales engagement, enabling partners through workshops, demonstrations, and training while supporting sales teams in achieving revenue and profitability targets. Success requires translating complex architectures into clear business value, maintaining vendor certifications, and ensuring first-time-right solution design. Solution Design & Validation
- Design complete, scalable solutions across multiple technology domains within UiPath.
- Validate technical, operational, and commercial feasibility; approve or adjust designs as required.
- Provide configuration details, bill-of-materials, and technical validation for quotes prepared by IAMs or IVSS.
- Guarantee compliance with vendor standards and internal governance.
- Ensure SLA adherence for design validation and compliance with governance standards.
Partner & Customer Enablement
- Work proactively within the reseller community to position UiPathās full portfolio, including RPA, Process Mining, Automation Cloud, Document Understanding, and Agentic AI capabilities.
- Deliver technical sessions, workshops, and hands-on training for partners and internal teams.
- Lead solution demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase value and differentiation.
- Act as a visible technical ambassador at partner and vendor events.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with IAMs, PSMs, and VSMs to support joint solution execution.
- Coordinate with vendor technical teams to confirm design compliance and access latest innovations.
- Act as escalation point for design disputes or configuration conflicts.
- Provide technical validation for pipeline opportunities to support accurate forecasting.
Field Engagement
- Maintain regular presence with partners and customers to position solutions and gather insights.
- Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and technical events to reinforce solution leadership.
Knowledge Development & Innovation
- Maintain up-to-date vendor certifications and cross-domain expertise (cloud, networking, security, collaboration).
- Share knowledge internally through training and mentoring programs.
- Contribute to process improvements and best-practice documentation for solutioning workflows.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in pre-sales or solution architecture roles.
- Understanding of automation, RPA and AIādriven transformation from both a technical and commercial perspective.
- Experience or certification in UiPath technologies (e.g., RPA Developer, Business Analyst, Automation Solution Architect) is highly desirable.
- Ability to articulate how UiPathās automation platform, including Agentic AI capabilities, delivers measurable outcomes for customers.
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Language: English (business fluency).
Nice-to-Have Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with multi-vendor IT distribution and channel sales.
- Experience in partner enablement and technical training delivery.
- Additional languages and international exposure.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Vendor certifications across relevant technology pillars required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- First-time-right solution design ratio and compliance with standards.
- SLA adherence for design validation and governance compliance.
- Number of technical enablement sessions delivered (partners and internal teams).
- Partner and customer satisfaction with technical support and solution quality.
- Field engagement metrics (visits, demos, events attended).
- Currency of vendor certifications and multi-domain coverage.
