UI/UX Design Lead

Our client is looking for a talented and innovative UI/UX Design Lead to join their dynamic creative team. This role is pivotal in shaping the user experience and visual design of their digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing. As the UI/UX Design Lead, you will guide the design process from conception to implementation, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business requirements into seamless digital interfaces. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups, and defining user flows and interaction patterns. A strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility standards, and current design trends is essential. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. You will mentor junior designers, foster a collaborative design environment, and advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle. This hybrid role requires you to be present in the office for key collaborative sessions and client meetings, while also offering flexibility for remote work. Your contributions will directly impact the usability and appeal of our client's offerings, driving user satisfaction and business success.

Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications. Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gather insights and identify areas for improvement. Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts. Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital products. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging user experiences. Mentor and guide junior UI/UX designers, providing feedback and fostering their professional growth. Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively. Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies. Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the organization. Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and are inclusive for all users. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a proven track record of leading design projects. Strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of UI/UX design work, including web and mobile applications. Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision. In-depth knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and interaction design. Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing. Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of typography, color, and layout. Experience leading and mentoring design teams. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
