About the role
Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and strategic UI/UX Designer to join our product team. With at least 2 years of professional experience, you aren’t just a "pixel pusher" you are a problem solver who understands the bridge between human psychology and digital interfaces. You will own the design lifecycle for key features, from initial user research to high-fidelity prototyping and developer handoff.
Key Responsibilities
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to transform raw data into actionable insights.
- End-to-Design: Create sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes that clearly illustrate how a product should function.
- Visual Excellence: Design polished, modern interfaces using Figma (or equivalent), maintaining high standards for typography, color theory, and layout.
- Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our internal design system to ensure consistency across web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Leverage AI tools (e.g., Figma AI, Lovable, Claude or Galileo) to accelerate ideation, automate repetitive tasks, and explore predictive UX patterns.
- Accessibility (a11y): Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.2 standards, making our products inclusive for users of all abilities.
- Collaboration: Work daily with Product Managers to define requirements and with Engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing at least 2–3 end-to-end case studies (Research → Wireframes → Final UI → Impact).
- Tooling: Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, Components, Variables). Familiarity with Protopie, Framer, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Technical Literacy: A basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JS to communicate effectively with developers (you don’t need to code, but you must know what’s possible).
- Soft Skills: High empathy, strong storytelling/presentation skills, and the ability to defend design decisions with data.
