UI/UX Software Interface Designer
We are looking for a talented Software Interface Designer to design user‑centric products and web experiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams with developers and UX designers. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and translate any given user‑experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI/UX skills, and be able to translate high‑level requirements into interaction workflows, and beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex designs.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand‑off to engineering.
• Present and defend your design decisions. All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap and your design thinking and fundamental principles.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams, and able to collaborate closely with developers and UX designers.
• Keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest industry standards changes.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of UI / UX experience.
• Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during the interview.
• Minimum one (1) year experience using Figma.
• Creative ideas with a problem‑solving mindset.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
• Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
• Be a team player and bring good vibes to the product development team.

Working conditions

• Full‑time position: 40 hours per week.
• Working from home.
• Weekly meeting at the office.
• You will report to the Product Manager.

Salary Range

60,000 – 100,000 $ CAD Annual
