We are looking for a UI/UX Web Developer (Level 4 or 5) with an Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph to join our team providing DOD IT support in Annapolis Junction, MD, Washington, DC, or Reston, VA.

Please note that there is some telework allowed, but candidates will need to be fully cleared and okay with working on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

Description

Information Architecture & Strategy

• Audit legacy applications to identify friction points and define the structural design of shared information environments.

UX Audit & Synthesis

• Analyze features from existing tools to determine the most efficient path for interface consolidation or new application design.

User Research & Discovery

• Lead usability testing with cleared personnel and translate complex mission requirements into intuitive user flows and wireframes.

Design System Ownership

• Establish and maintain a scalable Design System/UI Kit in Figma to ensure visual and functional consistency across the new application.

Iterative Development

• Architect and develop responsive, "user-first" web interfaces using modern frameworks (React/Angular), ensuring designs are pixel-perfect.

Accessibility

• Ensure all designs meet Section 508 compliance standards for high-stakes environments.

Required Qualifications

• Level 4: 13 years of experience in Systems or IT related roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
• Level 5: 18 years of experience in Systems or IT related roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
• A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master’s Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience
• Information Architecture (IA): Proven ability to organize complex data sets into intuitive navigation models and sitemaps.
• Design Tools: Mastery of Figma (auto-layout, components, and prototyping) and Adobe XD.
• Frontend Engineering: Experience building user-facing web applications using React, Angular, or Vue.
• Web Fundamentals: Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Integration: Experience integrating interfaces with RESTful Services.

Clearance Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Compensation

TMSV is also committed to pay transparency and the ranges for this position are:

• Level 4: $135,000-$160,000
• Level 5: $165,000-$195,000
