DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) Sénior

About

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) to work on a strategic project to set up a cloud environment from scratch dedicated to research workloads, in a data and intensive computing context.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate a complete AWS environment dedicated to research workloads
• Implement cloud architectures in collaboration with solution architects
• Deploy infrastructure as code (networks, compute, storage, security, observability)
• Design and maintain scalable environments for analytics, simulations, and notebooks
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure security, isolation, and access management in a multi-tenant environment
• Develop automation tools in Python for platform provisioning and operation
• Participate in operational support and continuous improvement of the platform
• Contribute to the team's cloud standards and best practices

Environment & Team

• Native AWS environment (IAM, VPC, EC2, EKS/ECS, S3, RDS, CloudWatch?)
• Greenfield project with a strong innovation and automation component
• Context oriented towards data-intensive, analytics, and high-performance computing
• Close collaboration with architects and technical teams
• Strong DevOps and automation culture

Key Skills

• Excellent command of AWS (design, build, and run cloud infrastructures)
• Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK?)
• Very good command of Python for automation and platform tools
• Proven experience in CI/CD and automated deployment
• Good understanding of network, security, and identity management challenges on AWS
• Experience with data/compute-intensive environments highly appreciated

Candidate Profile

• Senior DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (minimum 10+ years of experience)
• Ability to work on greenfield environments with high technical complexity
• Autonomy, rigor, and initiative
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with architecture and engineering teams
• Professional English
