Description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Flight Test Engineer to support the development and validation of advanced aerospace systems. The successful candidate will play a hands‑on role in assembling, operating, and testing aerospace platforms while ensuring accurate data collection and safe flight operations. You will assist in executing structured flight tests, maintaining test aircraft, and supporting rapid iteration of autonomous flight technologies. Responsibilities

  • Assemble, configure, and maintain fixed‑wing and multirotor platforms used for testing.
  • Prepare aircraft and support equipment for flight operations and test missions.
  • Ensure system readiness through pre‑flight checks and configuration validation.
  • Support structured flight‑testing activities, including pre‑flight preparation, flight execution, and post‑flight procedures.
  • Assist with flight test planning and execution alongside engineering teams.
  • Ensure all operations follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to airframes, electronics, or onboard systems.
  • Maintain aircraft hardware, test equipment, batteries, and spare components.
  • Support rapid iteration cycles by maintaining high test readiness and platform availability.
  • Collect and manage flight test data, telemetry, and system performance metrics.
  • Document test results and operational observations.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience assembling, configuring, and troubleshooting aerospace systems.
  • Strong understanding of structured test operations and flight safety procedures.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, or avionics‑related issues in aerospace platforms.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and supporting field testing in varying environmental conditions.
  • Willingness to travel for flight testing activities or engineering test campaigns.
  • Demonstrated piloting experience, including fixed‑wing and/or multirotor platforms.
