Job Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop local plant sites teams of manufacturing engineers and engineering managers across various US-based large factor assembly sites.
  • Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the engineering teams.
  • Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies for the manufacturing engineering function

Process Optimization and Improvement

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for large factor assembly, ensuring adherence to best practices, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation, lean manufacturing initiatives, and technological advancements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for complex manufacturing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for facility layout, design, and infrastructure development to accommodate large-factor assembly operations and future growth.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong focus on large factor assembly processes (e.g., industrial equipment, complex machinery, large-scale electronics).
  • 5+ years of experience in a engineering leadership role
  • Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and automation solutions.
  • Experience with NPI and DFM (Design for Manufacturability) in a high-volume, complex assembly environment.
