We are looking for an experienced Usability Engineer with UI design skills (m/f/d). Within a comprehensive digitalization environment, the role involves providing central support and management services for various portal teams and relevant stakeholders. The focus is on defining functional and technical parameters, designing user-centered portal processes, and establishing consistent UX/UI standards and reusable design patterns. Additionally, the participating teams will be supported in areas such as IT security, change management, quality assurance, ITSM processes, and project-related methodologies within an agile context. ******************************************************************************************************************** Tasks: • Defining user interfaces for online applications using responsive design and adhering to accessibility guidelines • Planning, conducting, and evaluating usability tests, as well as creating prototypes for testing • User-centered design process (UCD) according to DIN 9241 • Coordinating style and design drafts for online applications with relevant stakeholders • Contributing to and supporting the creation of product-related usability and user interface designs for online applications, and the conception and implementation of UI/UX (usability) and accessibility recommendations • Further developing an internet design guide • Documenting the developed recommendations for online applications • Defining user interfaces (UI) using HTML/JavaScript/CSS technology • 3rd-level support for existing online applications, including analysis and troubleshooting ******************************************************************************************************************** Must-have requirements: • Experience in creating customer journey maps • Solid project experience and in-depth knowledge of customer journey maps • Experience in prototyping – at least in-depth knowledge, 2+ years • Experience in Jira/Confluence – at least in-depth knowledge, 2+ years • Experience in BitV2 accessibility – at least in-depth knowledge, 2+ years • Experience in Axure – at least in-depth knowledge, 2+ years • Experience in the UCD (User-Centered Design) process – at least in-depth knowledge, 2+ years • Experience in agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban – specialized knowledge, 3+ years • Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams – specialized knowledge, 3+ years • Software skills: Adobe products, Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign), Jira, Confluence – specialized knowledge, 3+ years
