UX Architect, or UX Designer with a strong IA focus

This role focuses on creating intuitive site architectures, defining clear taxonomies, and optimizing navigation to support seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate is both a systems thinker and a strong communicator who can confidently present concepts and rationale to senior stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Develop and refine site architecture, including content hierarchies, navigation models, and user pathways.
• Create and maintain taxonomy frameworks that support content organization, searchability, and scalability.
• Conduct audits of existing digital experiences to identify opportunities for navigation optimization and improved information flow.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, researchers, and developers to ensure architectural decisions align with business goals and user needs.
• Produce artifacts such as sitemaps, IA diagrams, user flows, and content models.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and align teams around IA strategy.
• Present IA recommendations, rationale, and prototypes to stakeholders and executive audiences, translating complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Ensure all architectural decisions support accessibility, usability, and long-term scalability.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a UX Architect, Information Architect, or Senior UX Designer with a strong IA focus.
• Demonstrated expertise in site architecture, taxonomy development, and navigation design for large or complex digital environments.
• Experience conducting content inventories, card sorts, tree tests, and other IA-focused research methods.
• Proficiency with IA and UX tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar platforms.
