What you'll do:

• Work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and researchers to enhance product experiences.
• Convert user needs and business goals into intuitive, elegant design solutions.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate concepts across teams.
• Contribute to our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.
• Partner with researchers and data analysts to understand user behavior and validate design choices.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design throughout every project.
• Clearly present your design work and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

What you bring:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UX or product design.
• A background in designing sophisticated digital products, particularly for large user bases or enterprise contexts.
• A strong portfolio that showcases problem-solving skills, product thinking, and design execution.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (Figma preferred).
• The ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in education technology or mission-driven products.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflows.
• Previous employment at a large product-focused tech company.

Compensation

At Cengage Group, we pride ourselves on offering a comprehensive Total Rewards package that supports and empowers our employees. The full base pay range for this position is $67,000.00 - $87,100.00 USD, varying based on qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus program with an annual target of 5%.
