UX Designer

About the Role

The UX Designer will build and maintain reusable design components. They will ensure design consistency across new and existing components. Collaboration with product owners and other designers is crucial for creating accurate components. The designer will adhere to design standards and governance practices. Participation in all phases of the design process is expected.

Essential Skills

• Familiarity with CSS, JavaScript, and HTML is beneficial. Experience in agile environments can enhance adaptability.
• Understanding of design tokens and their application in design systems is advantageous. Knowledge of user research methodologies can improve design outcomes. Experience in fast-paced iterative processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in Figma for designing user interfaces is essential. Understanding of design systems and the ability to create reusable components is critical.
• Strong communication skills are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a must.
• Experience in responsive design is also required.

• 2+ years of experience designing in Figma for web and mobile applications
• Experience developing or maintaining design systems
• Strong Figma skills to create robust design system components
• Understanding of design system structures and library and how atomic-molecules-organisms-template are organized in multiple libraries
• Understating of Figma design tokens (Variables) and experience using design tokens for components.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and working with grid systems.
• Strong skills producing user interface design, interaction design, visual designs for various digital products.
• Experience designing with scalability and accessibility in mind, ensuring components meet WCAG standards and adapt to various use cases and platforms
