- Observe users in their environments to identify opportunities for improvement in software interaction.
- Design low to high fidelity mockups and prototypes; coordinate and lead user testing sessions with hospital employees.
- Lead implementation kick-off meetings to ensure stakeholders, developers, and testers understand the intended user experience, and provide clear written guidance to software engineers.
- Identify opportunities for in-app guidance and create corresponding flows and content.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI product design for browser-based applications.
- Creative and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting research findings.
- Efficiency in using design systems aligned with frontend frameworks.
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, GitHub, Vimeo, Pendo, and Productboard.

- Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, plus access to free therapy or counseling.
- Paid parental leave (up to 10 weeks at 100% of regular salary) and inclusive fertility & family-building care.
- Unlimited PTO for vacation or sick days.
- Generous referral rewards to bring in more awesome team members.
- Casual office attire, the ability to bring your fur baby to work, cool VEG swag, stocked fridge, and free lunches twice a week.
- Company laptop and a monthly cell phone reimbursement.
- In-person collaboration benefits including free parking and a shuttle from the White Plains Metro-North station.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
At VEG, diversity is a strength that fuels innovation and compassion. We are committed to building a culture where every voice is heard, different perspectives are celebrated, and everyone has equitable opportunities to grow. By saying YES to VEG, you help us become the world's veterinary emergency company – together.
