Position Summary

We are looking for a User Experience (UX) Developer to support our Digital Data Solutions team in building intuitive interfaces for enterprise data governance and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing UX/UI components for cloud-based applications that interface with tools like Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Power BI, and Azure.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing with internal stakeholders and end users.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
  • Develop wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and design workflows for data platforms.
  • Design for complex metadata management, data catalog, and compliance use cases.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within agile delivery teams.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to validate and iterate designs based on feedback and testing.
  • Ensure UX alignment across modules like data lineage, policy enforcement, and taxonomy modeling.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of UX design experience, ideally in enterprise software or data governance tools.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Collibra, Microsoft Purview, OneTrust, or similar metadata/catalog tools.
  • Proficiency in UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure, or Balsamiq.
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts like metadata, lineage, classifications, and access controls.
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into clear, usable, and scalable designs.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams and participating in sprint planning/design reviews.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Psychology, or related field.
