About the role
About the Role
We're shaping the future of cooking through connected kitchen experiences, and design is at the core of how we get there.
This role owns the full design process, from understanding requirements to shipping polished, production-ready work. We're looking for a designer with a genuine passion for solving user problems and a drive to make complex experiences feel simple. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams, this designer helps shape products that are intuitive, consistent, and built with the user in mind. What You'll Do • Lead UX design end-to-end, translating requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final design specs that are ready for development handoff. You'll take ownership of your work from the first brief to the shipped product. • Contribute to and help evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across our products. You'll create and document reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that help the broader team move faster and with confidence. • Partner closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of your designs, providing clear documentation and staying engaged through the build process to resolve questions as they arise. • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, navigate constraints, and advocate for the user at every stage of the process. • Conduct and apply user research - including interviews, usability tests, and synthesis of existing findings - to inform design decisions and validate solutions, as a supporting part of your overall workflow. • Leverage AI-assisted design tools to enhance and accelerate your process, staying current with emerging tools and techniques that improve the quality and efficiency of your work. What We're Looking For • 2+ years of professional UX or product design experience, with a track record of taking projects from requirements through to completion. • Strong Figma skills and hands-on experience working within and contributing to design systems, including components, design tokens, and shared libraries. • A solid understanding of interaction design principles, usability best practices, and how to balance user needs with business goals. • Experience working directly with engineering teams and a practical understanding of how designs get built - you know how to communicate your intent clearly and collaborate through implementation. • Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and a curiosity for how they can improve your workflow. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions clearly to stakeholders across disciplines. • A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work is strongly encouraged, including examples of design system contributions, prototypes, and shipped products. We'd love to see how you think and what you've built. Salary Range (commensurate with experience) $90,000—$100,000 USD
