Where You Can Make a Difference
We want to further increase the stability and customer satisfaction of our practice management software tomedo®. As a technically experienced UX Designer, you will support your team in areas related to the Telematics Infrastructure (TI).
- As a UX Designer, you will have direct contact with our customers. You will independently conduct interviews and usability tests, analyze behavior, and make data-driven design decisions that sustainably improve the user experience.
- From the development of initial wireframes to click prototypes and high-fidelity designs – your concepts will not only be visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly.
- With attention to detail, you will optimize UI components so that our software is not only consistent but also modern and appealing.
- In close collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure that your designs are not only technically feasible but also compliant with legal requirements.
- You enjoy working intensively on a problem before focusing on a solution and will advise your team on prioritization and strategy.
- You can work 100% from home or use one of our co-working spaces in Erfurt, Leipzig, Berlin, and Hamburg.
- Part-time employment is generally not an issue, however, it would be ideal if you could spend at least 30 hours per week with us.
What You Should Bring
- You have a completed degree or a comparable qualification in UX, Design, or Human-Computer Interaction.
- You have at least 5 years of experience in UX Design, ideally in a software context and in an agile environment with highly regulated and very technical topics.
- You are familiar with UX principles from theory and science, as well as with the further development of component-based design systems.
- You are proficient in design and research tools and can demonstrate experience with design-to-code processes and AI prototyping.
- You have practical experience in UX Research and a deep understanding of product discovery principles, and you know how to derive valuable insights from them.
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a structured way of working characterize you. Complex requirements do not deter you – you love finding well-thought-out solutions and justifying them clearly.
- To be successful with us, it is essential that you have fluent German language skills.

Requirements
- Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation im Bereich UX, Design oder Human-Computer Interaction.
- Du bist seit mindestens 5 Jahren im UX Design unterwegs, idealerweise im Software Kontext und in einem agilen Umfeld mit stark regulierten und sehr technischen Themen.
- Mit UX-Prinzipien aus Theorie und Wissenschaft bist Du ebenso vertraut, wie mit der Weiterentwicklung von komponentenbasierten Design Systemen.
- Design und Research Tools beherrschst Du aus dem Effeff und kannst Erfahrung mit Design-to-Code-Prozessen und AI-Prototyping vorweisen.
- Du bringst praktische Erfahrung von UX Research sowie ein tiefes Verständnis von Product-Discovery-Prinzipien mit und weißt, wie man wertvolle Erkenntnisse daraus gewinnt.
- Kommunikationsstärke, analytisches Denken und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise zeichnen Dich aus.
- Um bei uns richtig Fuß fassen zu können, ist es zwingend notwendig, dass Du fließend Deutsch beherrschst.
Responsibilities
- Eigenständig führst Du Interviews und Usability-Tests durch, analysierst das Verhalten und triffst datenbasierte Design-Entscheidungen, welche die User Experience nachhaltig verbessern.
- Von der Entwicklung erster Wireframes bis hin zu Klick-Prototypen und High-Fidelity-Designs - Deine Konzepte sind nicht nur visuell ansprechend, sondern auch funktional und nutzerfreundlich.
- Mit Liebe zum Detail optimierst Du UI Komponenten, damit unsere Software nicht nur konsistent ist, sondern auch modern und ansprechend.
- In enger Zusammenarbeit mit Entwickler:innen, Produktmanager:innen und anderen Stakeholder:innen sorgst Du dafür, dass Deine Designs nicht nur technisch umsetzbar, sondern auch mit den rechtlichen Anforderungen konform sind.
- Du arbeitest gerne intensiv am Problem, bevor du Dich mit einer Lösung beschäftigst und berätst dein Team in Priorisierung und Strategie.
