About Us
LASARRUS Clinic and Research Center is a forward-thinking medical device and digital health company. We are developing the WearME system—a state-of-the-art wearable and mobile platform designed to improve the monitoring and care of COPD patients. We are seeking a motivated UX/UI Design Intern to support the design and iteration of the WearME platform across both patient and provider experiences.

- Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and handoff specifications in Figma for iOS and Android experiences.
- Design and implement user-centric software functions for the WearME system, focusing on usability, visual appeal, and functionality.
- Develop and refine software functions that utilize bilateral WearME data and fuse multimodal datasets into a cohesive platform.
- Support the Lead UX/UI Designer with design-system maintenance, asset organization, design QA, and iterative updates based on user feedback.
- Collaborate with clinical research teams to ensure the design meets the needs of both patients and healthcare providers.
- Maintain a consistent design language and contribute to the visual branding of the WearME system.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in UX/UI, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and a portfolio demonstrating product or mobile design thinking.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and comfort working in a collaborative review process.
- Experience with healthcare, research workflows, or design systems is helpful but not required.
