About the Role

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) who not only enjoys well-thought-out, high-quality design but is also ready to take the next step in their professional development. In this role, you will take early responsibility for your own features and actively shape how our products are experienced – from the initial idea to implementation.

How We Work: Agent-Based Engineering

At JTL, AI-powered design is not optional – it's our way of designing. UX/UI designers in our team actively use tools like Figma AI, AI prototyping, or design assistants as part of their daily workflow.

What This Means in Practice:

• You will use AI assistants and generative tools to accelerate wireframing, prototyping, design exploration, and asset creation – and know when to rely on your own design intuition.
• You are comfortable with AI-driven workflows: You provide high-level design prompts to AI tools, critically evaluate their output, and iterate based on your design expertise.
• You remain curious about new AI-powered design approaches and actively experiment with integrating them into your process.

We are looking for designers who have already started working with AI design tools and are passionate about them.

Responsibilities

• You will design complex user interfaces and experiences from concept to implementation, working closely with product managers and developers.
• You will create intuitive UX concepts and translate complex requirements into clear user experiences.
• You will work within existing design systems and contribute to their further development as needed.
• You will design web applications (e.g., dashboards, forms, complex workflows).
• You will actively collect user feedback and integrate it to validate your design decisions.
• You will work iteratively and improve products based on actual usage.

Requirements

• You have 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design.
• You are proficient in Figma and have experience with AI-powered design tools (e.g., Figma AI, Galileo, Midjourney, ChatGPT/Claude for UX texts, or comparable).
• You are accustomed to working within an existing design system.
• You have experience in B2B environments with complex, data-intensive applications.
• You possess a strong portfolio demonstrating your design projects.
• You understand UX fundamentals such as user flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
• You can handle ambiguity well, structure problems, and independently develop solutions.
• You speak fluent English.
