UX/UI Product Designer

About

You translate the vision of our Senior Designer into actionable, scalable UX/UI concepts for our app and web platform.

You contribute independently, develop interfaces further, and work closely with Product & Tech to turn design ideas into real features.

You are the connecting instance between: • Vision & Strategy (Senior Designer) • Operational elaboration (Junior Designer) • Product & Development (PM & Tech Team)

Responsibilities

Design System & Framework Ownership

• Further development of the existing design framework for app & web • Ensuring consistency across all platforms • Defining and documenting UX patterns • Close coordination with Senior Designer

UX & UI Conception

• Developing user flows for app and web • Creating wireframes & high-fidelity designs • Independently conceptualizing new interfaces • Improving existing features from a UX perspective • Thoroughly considering states, edge cases, and interactions

Interface with Product & Tech

• Challenging & coordinating designs with Product Manager • Close collaboration with developers (feasibility, edge cases, states) • Handover of designs including clear specifications • Accompanying design reviews

Mentoring & Structure

• Providing clear direction to Junior Designers • Giving feedback and ensuring quality standards • Conveying context, not just delivering snippets

Qualifications

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in UX/UI • Experience with Design Systems • Experience in mobile app design (iOS/Android) and web • Startup experience is an advantage

Skills

• Strong in UX conception • Very good interface design • Systemic thinking • Prototyping (Figma) • Understanding of technical constraints • Structured, independent way of working

Language

• Fluent German & English
