OPERATIONAL CHAIN VALIDATION ENGINEER

Context

As part of major strategic programs, our client is deploying a Command & Control Center dedicated to end‑to‑end validation of the operational chain. The mission?

• Ensure overall functional consistency
• Guarantee system performance and operational readiness
• Coordinate all system segments: Space, Ground, Mission Center, and C2

This is a key integration and validation role within a highly complex, multi‑segment environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Participate in end‑to‑end functional validation of the operational chain
• Prepare, execute, and monitor validation tests across:
  • Command & Control Center
  • Ground stations
  • Space segment
  • Mission Center
• Contribute to qualification phases:
  • QT – Technical Qualification
  • QO – Operational Qualification
• Analyze test results, identify deviations, investigate anomalies, and propose corrective actions
• Produce and maintain technical documentation:
  • Functional specifications
  • Test plans & procedures
  • Validation and test reports
• Act as a technical interface between ground, space, mission, and C2 engineering teams

Required Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Command & Control (C2) environments
• Solid knowledge of the ground segment (stations, networks, TM/TC)
• Good understanding of the space segment (on‑board chain, mission aspects)
• Proven experience in complex system validation and multi‑segment integration
• Ability to analyze functional interfaces across subsystems

Functional Skills

• Writing functional specifications and test documentation
• Anomaly identification, characterization, and follow‑up
• Strong coordination and cross‑team collaboration skills

Experience in:

• Complex systems validation
• Multi‑segment integration
• Operational validation (space, defense, telecoms, or other critical systems
