Validation Engineer (Cleaning & Sterilization)

About

We are looking for our client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. based in Basel, for a motivated and dedicated Validation Engineer (Cleaning & Sterilization) for a temporary assignment of one year with the option of extension.

Responsibilities

• Creation of qualification and validation documents in the field of cleaning and sterilization validation (plans, reports)
• Support of validation activities, especially coordination in an interdisciplinary team / communication with stakeholders
• Verification of systems and ensuring release for production Processing of owner / author of changes, deviations, CAPAs, as well as creation of technical assessments for stakeholders
• Support for regulatory documents / reporting procedures
• Collaboration with partners from Site Engineering, production plants, and QA/QC departments
• Work in an environment with a strong team spirit, timely and effective communication, a sense of urgency, and high motivation to achieve operational goals
• Representation of qualification and validation topics during authority inspections

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or comparable higher degree in natural sciences, engineering, biotechnology, or a similar discipline
• Min. 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a production, development, or quality function
• Min. 3 years of experience with qualification and validation, especially sterilization and cleaning validation, system qualification
• You impress with your structured, solution-oriented, and independent way of working, as well as your analytical thinking
• You have a quick grasp of things, look forward to working in a team, and bring commitment and initiative
• You have strong oral and written communication skills in German and English
• You have a confident, integral, and competent demeanor and the ability to influence at all levels
• You take responsibility in your own area of ​​responsibility

Nice to haves

• Experience with autoclaves/steam sterilizers
• Knowledge of Roche IT systems (e.g. Veeva, eVAL)
