Validation Engineer (m/w/d) Automotive

Responsibilities

• Conducting release and development-accompanying tests for automotive components and systems (especially window regulator systems) in accordance with specified test plans and specifications
• Development and implementation of test strategies and methods to ensure functionality and reliability
• Timely coordination of all internal and external test activities as well as coordination with stakeholders, including management of external partners
• Participation in the development of test equipment for release tests
• Analysis and documentation of test results as well as creation of meaningful test reports
• Evaluation of accompanying customer documents and internal requirements, including participation in offer preparation
• Collaboration with development teams to identify and resolve errors (e.g., contribution to system and design FMEAs, lessons learned)
• Use of test automation tools to increase the efficiency of test processes
• Participation in reviews and meetings for continuous improvement of test methods
• Ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards
• Presentation and discussion of test results and test strategies in customer contact
• Ensuring a clearly defined, complete validation scope (internal & external)
• Responsibility for budget compliance, test reports, and complete documentation
• Support of the development team in requirement implementation and problem-solving
• Compliance with all relevant quality standards and processes
• Close coordination with stakeholders to ensure needs-based test execution
• Adherence to deadlines, sprint goals, and all promised work results
• Ensuring operational readiness and release of test equipment
• Conducting cost estimations for offer preparation

Qualifications

• Sound technical knowledge of relevant technologies and processes related to the validation of window regulators
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating data, system performance, and quality
• Experience in test management: creation of test specifications, planning, execution, and evaluation of validation tests
• High precision, structured working method, and diligence in all validation processes
• Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Experience in planning, coordinating, and monitoring validation projects (deadlines, budget, reporting)
• Willingness for continuous further training and staying technologically up-to-date
