Valve Diagnostic Tester

About

We are looking for an experienced Valve Diagnostic Tester with strong expertise in Motor Operated Valves (MOV) and Air Operated Valves (AOV) diagnostics within a Nuclear Power Plant environment.

This role is ideal for professionals experienced in valve performance testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and predictive maintenance during plant operations and outages.

Key Responsibilities

🔧

• Perform diagnostic testing on MOV and AOV valves using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Troubleshoot actuator performance, torque/thrust issues, stroke time anomalies, and feedback errors.
• Conduct functional testing and valve leakage tests to verify system integrity.
• Validate actuator calibration and torque/thrust settings in accordance with OEM specifications and industry standards.
• Analyze diagnostic data to detect early signs of mechanical wear, degradation, or misalignment.
• Prepare technical diagnostic reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain valve records in asset management systems (SAP, Maximo, etc.).
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
• Participate in root cause analysis for valve failures.
• Provide technical support during plant outages, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISA standards and nuclear safety procedures.

Requirements

🎯

• Proven hands‑on experience with MOV / AOV diagnostic testing
• Nuclear Power Plant experience (mandatory)
• Strong troubleshooting and valve performance analysis skills
• Ability to interpret diagnostic data and produce technical reports
