Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team on a long term temporary, possible temp to hire basis.

This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit financial reports from general ledger with supporting detail.
• Support the Finance and Accounting teams in the reporting process in coordination with Payroll and Accounts Payable.
• Provide support to the Assistant Director of Finance in reconciling payroll reports.
• Submit requests for budget modifications to ensure all funds will be expended.
• Prepare budgets for new and existing clients.
• Provide assistance to other Finance and Accounting staff members
• Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation.
• Prepare profit and loss models

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE experience in accounting and/or finance
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Similar
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and strong analytical skills.
• 2-5 years of similar experience, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
