- Position: Vessel New Building Project Manager M/F
- Location: Based in Marseille
Responsibilities
- Manage Newbuilding projects from design up to delivery as turn‑key project: planning, resources, budget establishment and follow‑up, technical solutions identification including carbon reduction, selection of Shipyards and Makers, reporting, construction, delivery and claim management.
- Issue specifications for Vessels, Perform Design and Drawings review and approval of Basic and Detailed Design packages with 3rd parties (Ship Designer, Shipyards, consulting companies, makers, Operation & technical teams), ensure watchkeeping and definition of regulations applicable (Flag & Class) for fast Crewboat.
- Budget establishment: vessel pricing, based on specification and clarifications and production planning and projection for Business Plan & Budget, cash‑out planning, expenditures versus Budget follow‑up with Cost Control Dpt.
- Assessment of Shipyards & Key Makers (eg: engine, waterjets), audits, visits and equipment reception in liaison a Procurement department, contract establishment, Shipyard visit during construction.
- Manage any projects linked to Fast Crew boat development including market & technology intelligence, R&D, design & study, presentations to Stakeholders (Clients, Partners, 3rd parties) including MILD AREA and Windfarm Permanent Contract.
- Regular travels on Makers and construction sites in Vietnam and Dubai (at least 1 / month per Shipyard / project during construction phase, and in presence at critical stages of construction as per construction planning) and in operational Countries as per needed.
Requirements
- Master Degre in Maritime or engineering school
- You are fluent in French and English: written & spoken
- Experience in design and drawing of naval architecture is required
- Experience in a major or technical project management is a plus
- At least ten year of experience in Maritime Shipbuilding or naval architecture field
Compensation
- Gross Salary to be negociated: 80‑90 KE
