The Role
We are currently working with a rapidly growing sports and entertainment organization who are seeking a Vice President of Marketing. This individual will be responsible for building and executing a best-in-class, data-driven marketing strategy. You will drive brand awareness, fan acquisition, and revenue growth, while localizing a globally recognized brand for the U.S. audience.
This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and key moments across sport and entertainment. You will lead the development of a high-performing marketing function and create emotionally resonant campaigns that translate into measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a comprehensive U.S. marketing strategy focused on B2C growth, engagement, and awareness.
- Develop compelling storytelling that builds emotional connections with fans.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing U.S. marketing team.
- Own and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI and performance tracking.
- Partner with e-commerce, merchandising, and licensing teams to drive consumer revenue.
- Deliver high-impact product launches, drops, and promotional campaigns.
- Improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
- Drive fan acquisition and engagement through insight-led campaigns.
- Segment audiences and deliver targeted, personalized marketing strategies.
- Lead full-funnel marketing campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels.
- Oversee paid, owned, and earned media strategies to maximize reach and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, content, influencer, and creative teams.
- Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaign performance.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years’ experience in B2C marketing, ideally within sports & entertainment.
- Proven track record of scaling brands, growing communities, and driving consumer revenue.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including paid social, CRM, and e-commerce.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Passion for storytelling, culture, and community-led marketing.
