The Role

We are currently working with a rapidly growing sports and entertainment organization who are seeking a Vice President of Marketing. This individual will be responsible for building and executing a best-in-class, data-driven marketing strategy. You will drive brand awareness, fan acquisition, and revenue growth, while localizing a globally recognized brand for the U.S. audience.

This role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior, cultural trends, and key moments across sport and entertainment. You will lead the development of a high-performing marketing function and create emotionally resonant campaigns that translate into measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive U.S. marketing strategy focused on B2C growth, engagement, and awareness.
  • Develop compelling storytelling that builds emotional connections with fans.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing U.S. marketing team.
  • Own and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI and performance tracking.
  • Partner with e-commerce, merchandising, and licensing teams to drive consumer revenue.
  • Deliver high-impact product launches, drops, and promotional campaigns.
  • Improve conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  • Drive fan acquisition and engagement through insight-led campaigns.
  • Segment audiences and deliver targeted, personalized marketing strategies.
  • Lead full-funnel marketing campaigns across digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels.
  • Oversee paid, owned, and earned media strategies to maximize reach and efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with PR, content, influencer, and creative teams.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaign performance.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years’ experience in B2C marketing, ideally within sports & entertainment.
  • Proven track record of scaling brands, growing communities, and driving consumer revenue.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing ecosystems, including paid social, CRM, and e-commerce.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Passion for storytelling, culture, and community-led marketing.
