As part of the organization's further development, a global key account management is to be established to strategically coordinate important customers internationally, systematically tap into growth potential, and develop long-term, profitable customer relationships through coordinated market development.

The Role

  • Expansion and leadership of a global team for the further development and establishment of the Global Key Account Management and Industry Segment Management division
  • Definition, setup, and establishment of required competencies, processes, and structures
  • Building industry-specific application know-how in focused industries
  • Business Development: Building new partnerships in the respective industries with lead customers
  • Identification of growth areas, including use cases and innovation potentials
  • Ensuring close collaboration between sales and product management for the development of market-oriented solutions
  • Strategic management of key accounts
  • Analysis of market trends, competitors, and technological developments
  • Reporting to the CSO

The Profile

  • Completed university degree
  • Several years of professional and leadership experience in Global Key Account Management, as well as in building and developing strategic partner and customer networks
  • Experience in industrial companies with a global production footprint and international sales organizations
  • Good market and industry understanding in the field of automation / electrical engineering / electromechanics
  • Knowledge of selected target markets (e.g., Food & Beverage, Intralogistics, Mobility, Battery, Semiconductor, Data Center)
  • Experience in building and leading international teams, as well as in managing complex stakeholder structures up to C-level
  • Strong analytical skills in market and competitor analyses, as well as in identifying and evaluating business opportunities and innovation potentials
  • Hands-on mentality with strong influencing/problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with uncertainty
  • High social and intercultural competence
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken
