A rapidly growing AI-driven SaaS company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Engineering to lead product engineering, platform operations, and technical innovation across a mission-critical enterprise platform used by organizations nationwide.

This is a highly visible executive leadership role that reports directly to the CEO and partners closely with Product, Revenue, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership. The incoming leader will play a critical role in shaping the company’s long-term technology direction while ensuring the organization remains modern, innovative, and ahead of the market.

What You’ll Own

• Lead and scale a high-performing software engineering organization
• Drive execution across product delivery, platform reliability, and customer-facing enhancements
• Partner closely with Product leadership to translate roadmap priorities into predictable execution
• Continuously evaluate and introduce modern technologies, tooling, and engineering practices that improve scalability, velocity, and customer value
• Help position the company ahead of industry shifts in AI, search, automation, cloud infrastructure, and intelligent application development
• Build strong engineering management practices, accountability, and operational rigor
• Modernize and evolve architecture across cloud, AI, search, and distributed systems
• Improve development velocity, quality, observability, and release processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives and technology strategy
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, adaptability, continuous learning, and technical excellence

Technology Environment

The environment includes modern cloud infrastructure, enterprise SaaS applications, AI-enabled product capabilities, large-scale search technologies, distributed data systems, and modern software delivery practices.

Current technologies and areas of focus include:

• AWS cloud infrastructure
• .NET and Python ecosystems are a plus, but they are language agnostic
• Enterprise search and relevance technologies
• AI / LLM integrations and retrieval architectures
• Data warehousing and analytics platforms
• Observability, reliability, and scalable SaaS operations

What They’re Looking For

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with progressive leadership growth
• Proven experience leading engineering managers and senior technical teams
• Strong technical credibility with prior hands-on engineering background
• A modern technology mindset with the ability to evaluate trends pragmatically and identify what creates real business value
• Experience delivering customer-facing SaaS products in production environments
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, modern SDLC practices, reliability engineering, and operational excellence
• Experience working with AI-enabled applications or intelligent platform capabilities
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional partnership skills
• Ability to balance innovation, speed, scalability, and operational stability
