As a Strategy Vice President on the Personalization & Insights (P&I) team, you play a crucial role in supporting the product development process and contributing to the discovery of innovative solutions that address customer needs. Working closely with the product management team and cross-functional partners, you bring strategic insight, structured problem-solving, and strong communication to help ensure the success of our product offerings. You will help lead project teams in solving complex problems and implementation issues critical to the company.
As a Vice President Product Manager in Personalization & Insights (P&I), you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. In parallel, you support strategic planning and execution to translate insights into roadmap decisions and measurable outcomes.
The Personalization & Insights (P&I) team is building the next generation of customer intelligence and personalization capabilities that power meaningful, measurable experiences across our businesses. In this role, you will support strategic planning and execution for initiatives like our Build In program, partner with cross-functional leaders, and help scale innovation in personalization, customer intelligence, and emerging AI/LLM applications. Job Responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Supports the development of our product strategy and roadmap
- Collects and analyzes metrics on product performance to inform decision-making
- Contributes to solution discovery through collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify potential solutions that address user needs and align with business goals
- Participates in product planning sessions, contributes ideas and insights, and assists in the execution of product initiatives, ensuring timely and successful product launches
- Collaborates with the product manager to engage stakeholders and define user workflows, requirements, stories, and customer value
- Defines and deconstructs problems; forms hypotheses and drives analyses to recommendations
- Develops clear, concise executive-ready materials (presentations, briefings, emails) that synthesize complex topics into actionable insights for senior leaders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in a strategy, consulting, or operations role
- Developing knowledge level of the product development life cycle
- Emerging knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Strong structured problem-solving skills; ability to break down ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and drive analyses to clear recommendations
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; adept at crafting executive-ready materials and tailoring messages to different audiences
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing without authority in a fast-paced environment
- Experience performing competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
- Experience supporting workstreams for new initiatives (discovery, scoping requirements, tracking delivery milestones) across LOBs and functions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Experience supporting strategic planning and execution for cross-functional initiatives (e.g., program build/scale efforts)
- Familiarity with personalization and customer intelligence concepts (segmentation, targeting, measurement)
- Exposure to emerging AI/LLM applications and/or applied analytics use cases
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate strategy into execution through clear operating rhythms, milestones, and outcome measurement
- Experience developing executive-ready deliverables (slides, briefings, written narratives) for leadership audiences
