About the Opportunity

Our public sector client is seeking a detail-oriented Video Evidence Specialist to support critical investigations across a large, multi-site environment. In this role, you will play a key part in safeguarding evidence integrity while ensuring compliance with privacy legislation and internal policies.

Working closely with internal departments and external law enforcement partners, you will contribute to timely, accurate video retrieval and redaction processes. Your work will directly support criminal, workplace, and regulatory investigations, making a meaningful impact on operational transparency and public trust.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll conduct incident-specific video downloads, ensuring requested events are accurately captured and preserved.
  • You’ll document and process video requests using internal systems while maintaining complete and accurate records.
  • In this role, you’ll redact and edit video footage for investigations, training, and information disclosure, with careful attention to privacy requirements.
  • You’ll prepare evidentiary video files in accordance with established legal and organizational standards.
  • You’ll liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies, verifying production orders before releasing sensitive materials.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in video evidence processing, CCTV operations, or investigative support roles.
  • Strong technical proficiency with CCTV software and digital video management systems.
  • Sound knowledge of court procedures and evidence handling standards.
  • Solid understanding of privacy legislation and accessibility requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
