Voice AI Engineer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and innovative Voice AI Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in designing and implementing advanced voice AI solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting‑edge technologies into our applications. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the development of voice recognition, natural language processing, and speech synthesis functionalities that enhance user interactions.

As a Voice AI Engineer, you will work on high‑impact projects, such as optimizing performance and scalability of voice AI systems and refining machine learning models for better accuracy. You will also collaborate with UX/UI designers to create seamless voice interactions, stay abreast of the latest industry trends, and troubleshoot any issues in AI functionalities. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our voice AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement voice AI solutions, including speech recognition, natural language understanding (NLU), and text-to-speech (TTS) functionalities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate voice AI into various applications and platforms.
• Develop and fine‑tune machine learning models for voice recognition, dialogue management, and intent classification.
• Optimize the performance, accuracy, and scalability of voice AI systems.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless and intuitive voice interaction experiences.
• Conduct research on the latest advancements in voice AI technologies and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice AI functionality and performance.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for voice AI solutions, including design specifications, development processes, and integration guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and contribute to the team’s best practices for voice AI development.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in voice AI development, with expertise in speech recognition and natural language processing technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience working with voice AI platforms and frameworks (e.g., Google Dialogflow, Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, Amazon Alexa, or similar).
• Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning techniques as applied to voice and language processing.
• Familiarity with voice data processing, acoustic modeling, and language modeling.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality results within set deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large‑scale machine learning or deep learning models, particularly in the context of voice AI.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for voice‑driven systems.
• Hands‑on experience with the latest deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or MXNet.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working in multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Prior experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure for voice AI implementations.
