Systems Test Engineer (VoIP)

A client of Insight Global's is seeking an experienced System Test Engineer with a background in VoIP engineering to support a federal program in the Frederick, MD or Coppell, TX areas. This role is supporting a large FAA program focused on modernizing voice communications within air traffic control.

Responsibilities

• Deploying and testing IP based voice communication systems
• Support development plans according to program requirements
• Create and execute test cases
• Generate test reports, problem/defect reports, mitigation plans
• Work with the design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM)

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant
• 4+ years of Systems Test experience (executing test programs)
• Configuring and Analyzing VoIP networks
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Oracle), and VMs
• Ability to travel to project sites to assist with deployment and training (up to 50%)
