Volunteer: Website User Experience (UX) and Site Architecture Design
Madison House Autism Foundation
About the role
About This Opportunity
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to ten weeks.
Through working with our organization, volunteers involved in our website project will help us broaden our website viewership and expand our reach in supporting autistic individuals and their families. MHAF is geared toward building a lasting impact through our community engagement programming, which directly centers adults with autism and other intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) in empowering work to transform their communities into more inclusive and safer places for everyone.
We have already thought about and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, budget restrictions for the build, our branding collaterals and norms, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. We've also compiled some photos and have some language developed that we will share with you and samples of sites we like.
Madison House Autism Foundation Mission
To promote, model and advocate for the full inclusion of adults with autism and their families in the life of our communities; and to expand choice and opportunity in housing, employment, and social participation.
