The company is seeking a Vice President of E-Commerce reporting directly into the CEO to translate creative momentum into digital growth. The Vice President of E-Commerce will own the full-funnel digital marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and revenue growth through expansion into new marketing channels and optimization of existing efforts. This role will own the digital media budget and oversee digital merchandising and marketing efforts to optimize performance —from acquisition to conversion to retention—while ensuring a seamless and elevated brand experience consistent with the company’s identity.
A Day In The Life
As a VP, E-Commerce - SFJ You Will
- Develop a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Lead day-to-day management and execution of all digital initiatives to drive brand growth, client engagement, and revenue.
- Own website experience, UX/UI, digital merchandising, and conversion rate optimization.
- Own E-Commerce P&L, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, and margin optimization.
- Establish dashboards and reporting to monitor performance.
- Use data to drive decision-making across digital marketing, merchandising, and UX.
- Own campaign planning and go-to-market calendars.
- Oversee performance marketing (paid search, social, affiliates).
- Lead SEO strategy to drive visibility and traffic.
- Optimize customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV).
- Lead creation and deployment of CRM campaigns (direct mail, email and SMS).
- Own the full-funnel growth roadmap integrating paid media to scale efficiently.
- Implement A/B testing, personalization, and data-driven improvements.
- Ensure mobile-first excellence and fast site performance.
- Optimize product launches and inventory flow.
- Use analytics to inform product performance and customer preferences.
- Oversee e-commerce platforms and manage integrations across payments, fulfillment, and CRM systems.
- Leverage data and performance insights to inform segmentation and personalization to increase engagement.
- Measure and refine strategies based on customer behavior and funnel performance.
- Identify and scale acquisition strategies to ensure year-round new customer growth.
- Ensure seamless checkout and order management.
- Oversee operations including shipping, returns, and customer service experience.
What We Need From You
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- 10-12 years of experience in e-commerce, growth marketing, or digital leadership Required
- Proven track record of scaling DTC revenue and managing multimillion-dollar online businesses
- Track record of customer acquisition growth, and conversion improvement
- Deep understanding of performance marketing, CRM, and digital analytics
- Preferred experience with premium/luxury branding and storytelling online
- Data-driven, high energy, and deeply motivated by building brands through digital initiatives
- Effective problem solver
