VP Engineering

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a venture-backed semiconductor start-up building next-generation silicon and systems technology to unlock performance bottlenecks across high-growth compute and power applications.

Following a successful Series A raise from top-tier investors, the company is entering a critical scaling phase and is now looking to appoint a VP Engineering to build and lead a world-class engineering organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with significant ownership, influence product direction, and shape the long-term technical strategy of a company aiming to redefine its category.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale a high-performance engineering team across IC design, systems, and software
• Define and execute the company’s technical roadmap from architecture through to production
• Partner closely with the founding team on product strategy and company direction
• Establish engineering processes, culture, and execution discipline
• Drive tape-outs and product delivery in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment
• Represent engineering at the executive and board level

What We’re Looking For

• Proven leadership experience in semiconductor or deep tech environments
• Track record of delivering complex silicon products to market
• Strong background in areas such as ASIC, mixed-signal, power, or high-performance compute
• Experience scaling teams in start-up or high-growth environments
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on when required
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build, not just manage
