Cloud Engineer (AWS/EKS)

Role Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate the AWS infrastructure powering our integration platform on Amazon EKS. This role sits at the intersection of cloud architecture, Kubernetes engineering, and platform reliability. You will own the end-to-end deployment lifecycle-from Terraform-driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensuring production runtime health.

Key Responsibilities

• Kubernetes Orchestration: Design, implement, and manage integration platform deployments on Amazon EKS.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Build and maintain robust infrastructure automation using Terraform.
• Configuration & Optimization: Develop, deploy, and optimize Kubernetes configurations specifically for integration workloads.
• CI/CD Management: Establish and support automated pipelines for seamless build and deployment cycles.
• Platform Reliability: Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of all cloud solutions.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system health; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and runtime issues.
• Documentation: Maintain clear architecture diagrams, deployment patterns, and operational best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with security, integration, and application teams to meet platform requirements.

Technical Requirements (Must-Haves)

• Extensive experience with Amazon EKS (Kubernetes).
• Proven expertise in Terraform for AWS infrastructure management.
• Strong background in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Local to (or willing to relocate to) Charlotte, NC for a hybrid schedule.
