Java Developer

About The Role

This role supports a high-visibility Credit Card Points System initiative for a new project within the organization. The team is looking for a strong Java Developer with solid API integration experience and backend development expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications
• Work extensively with SOAP APIs (70%) and REST APIs (30%)
• Develop and support backend integrations and services
• Work with Oracle databases for data management and optimization
• Support application deployment and hosting on Apache Servers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization activities

Must Have Skills

• Strong Java Development experience
• Hands-on experience with SOAP APIs and REST APIs
• Oracle Database experience
• Experience with Apache Servers / Web Hosting
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills

• Prior JPMC experience
• Experience with GAP / CAP (JPMC internal cloud)
• Experience working on enterprise-scale backend systems
