Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WCAG 2.2 Specialist located in Great Falls, VA. The specialist will focus on ensuring websites, applications, and digital content meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 standards. Key responsibilities will include conducting accessibility audits, implementing improvements, collaborating with development teams, and creating reports to document requirements and compliance. The WCAG 2.2 Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote inclusive design and user experiences for all.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.0, WCAG 2.2, and compliance tools
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for implementing accessibility fixes
• Proficiency in conducting audits and utilizing accessibility evaluation tools like Axe, Lighthouse, or WAVE
• Knowledge of assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation
• Excellent communication skills for creating reports and collaborating with team members
• Ability to identify and advocate for inclusive solutions
• Background in UX/UI design is a strong advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
