Web Architect (C#.NET / Azure)

We are seeking a Web Architect with strong experience in enterprise application design, modern Microsoft technologies, and multi-platform environments. This role will support large-scale initiatives within a State of Florida agency, focusing on scalable architecture, system integration, and high-impact delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing hands-on development with high-level architectural thinking in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing and defining enterprise-level web architectures
• Leading development efforts and serving as a technical subject matter expert
• Building and maintaining applications using C#.NET, MVC, and modern web technologies
• Supporting database design and development using SQL Server and Oracle
• Collaborating across teams in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
• Driving best practices in Test-Driven Development and unit testing
• Working within cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT with a focus on architecture and development
• Strong experience with C#.NET, MVC, jQuery, HTML, and responsive design
• Solid background in SQL Server and exposure to Oracle
• Experience with Visual Studio and modern development workflows
• Proven ability to lead projects or act as a technical SME
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders

Nice to have

• Experience with TFS, SharePoint, and Visio
• Familiarity with State of Florida IT standards and processes
