Web Platform Engineer

Overview

As a Web Platform Engineer, you will design modern web and data-driven applications in an agile, technology-oriented environment. You will work in interdisciplinary teams and take responsibility for implementing product ideas through to delivery. We rely on web and frontend technology groups such as JavaScript, HTML, and TypeScript, as well as relational database systems such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Your Responsibilities

• Develop user-oriented web applications with a focus on performance and maintainability
• Implement and optimize database structures and queries for relational systems
• Implement backend functions and interfaces and generate meaningful reports
• Support product managers and quality assurance in the implementation and validation of proof-of-concepts in cloud environments
• Coordinate test and acceptance processes and create clear project documentation
• Collaborate with internal interfaces from technology, purchasing, and quality and drive cross-departmental improvements

Your Profile

• First to several years of experience in web and database development
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with knowledge of server-side programming like PHP
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
• Structured, solution-oriented, and communicative team player
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Driver's license class B is an advantage
