Duties & Responsibilities
No prior Web3 experience is required; just a genuine interest in the space and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial records, journals and reconciliations
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger and financial reporting
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with financial statements and reporting requirements
- Work with digital asset transactions and reporting (training provided)
- Support internal controls, compliance and audit processes
- Assist with process improvements and system optimisation
- Collaborate with tech and operations teams on finance-related initiatives
Job Experience and Skills Required
- CA(SA) qualification (non-negotiable)
- Experience aligned to budget (mid-level exposure)
- Strong interest in technology, digital assets or emerging finance trends
- Basic understanding or personal interest in Bitcoin / crypto (advantageous)
- Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-evolving, non-traditional environment
- Curious, adaptable and solutions-driven
